Subaltern Resistance Discussion

This painting is about the Deaf group sitting around the table, discussing on Subaltern Resistance, happening for years and throughout today’s society. This is inspired by Paddy Ladd’s book, Understanding Deaf Culture in Search of Deafhood on page 138-139.
In the painting, it shows Deaf people discussing about the past and what they learned from
each other. Some were shocked and upset and angry.
